Our commitment
- Infant feeding is a priority in public health due to the increasing number of children with overweight and obesity and the negative impact they have on the health, as they are related to the emergence of certain diseases at this age, and/or in adulthood.
- It is shown that diet and dietary habits have a great influence on the health, not only short but also long-term.
- Various studies have highlighted that many adult diseases may have their origin in childhood. It is precisely in this stage where you set up the eating habits that, almost certainly, will endure into adulthood.
- At present, studies conducted in our community show that the population of children presents a diet that in many cases they are far from the dietary recommendations because it is hyperproteic, high fat and low in carbohydrates. It is therefore necessary to try to modify the feeding patterns of children so that they fit to the nutritional recommendations.
- In Alium we know the importance of proper nutrition to be able to develop in the child a healthy lifestyle.
